Building a Brighter Christmas in Waltham Forest

With the 5th highest rate of child poverty in the UK and 1 in 10 residents out of work, many families in Waltham Forest will face the grim reality of extreme poverty this Christmas.

The pandemic has made matters worse. Many families have reported being isolated, lonely and suffering mental health distress.

Donate now and help us build a brighter future for children and their families.

We’ll provide:

1. 400 hampers, including food, essential items and Christmas treats

2. Free membership with the Walthamstow Toy Library and £5 gift voucher for toy loaning.

3. 400 packs of toiletries including shampoo, tooth paste, tooth brushes, soap, hand cream, lip balm.

4. Walthamstow Toy Library are creating craft packs and ideas of activities to do at home.

5. New Toys, wrapping paper and sticky tape so that parents and carers can give a gift to their child this Christmas.

6. Hot food for families facing extreme poverty.
